Beef/Cow Pooling

Cow Pooling?  Not quite...

Cow Pooling refers to either a few people or several people purchasing a steer for their consumption.  Each person/family splits the cuts as close to equal as possible as well as splitting the total purchase cost of the steer and the steer processing equally.

WPS takes great pride in producing safe, healthy, consistent, tasty, tender, nutritious, hormone-free beef for your consumption and ours.

Why buy from the supermarkets when you can purchase directly from our farm.  Freshness and consistency matters.  Enjoy farm fresh quality from your own freezer.

For about the average supermarket burger prices, you can enjoy farm fresh burger, steaks, and roasts conveniently from your own freezer.

Q. When I Purchase A Side Of Beef, What Do I Get?

    A. A side of beef is one half the hanging weight beef, this will typically be between 200-300 lbs.  Normally one third is hamburger, one third is roasts, and one third is steaks.

Q. How Do You Price Your Product?

    A. We price our beef by the "hanging pound". Once the animal has been slaughtered, it is cut into halves and weighed at the packing plant.  These weights determine how much your beef will cost.  The actual pounds you receive will be slightly less due to shrinkage during the drying process.

Q. Can You Ship My Beef Order?

    A. Yes, we ship with a 48 hour guaranteed delivery to the Continental United States. You will have to pay for the shipping and handling charges.

Q. Do You Require A Deposit?

    A. Yes, a minimum $500 "non-refundable" deposit is required and will be applied against your total bill.  We have a limited supply of animals and therefore after you have placed your order and deposit, we remove that animal and begin the process.
